Grace Gilliland, 88, of Rt. 7, died Wednesday evening in Ben Hur Health Care Center.
She was a member of the New Market United Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church. She was educated in Ladoga schools.
Born Oct. 4, 1884, at Ladoga, she was a daughter of Francis and Alice Myers Baldwin. She was married in 1907 to Manson Gilliland, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, William Gilliland of Rt. 7; two grandchildren, Robert L. Gilliland of Rt. 7 and Nancy Newton of Rt. 2; two si8ters, Ruth Otterman and Helen Graybill, both of Ladola; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.
Sevices are at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Powers Funeral Home at New Market with the Rev. William Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
